About Me:
My name is Matt , and I am a 28 year old guy that lives in
Grand Rapids. I graduated from the University of Michigan in December
of 2003. I currently work for Smiths Aerospace as a system's engineer.
Which may be the coolest job ever because I spend most of my day sitting
in a computer lab flying flight simulators. Yes, that is right,
I play video games all day long and get paid good money to do it! My
ethnicity is one fouth Italian, one fourh Croatian, and one half mutt
(from my mothers side). My hobbies are playing computer games, working on
my house, coaching wrestling, paintballing and lately some friends and I
have gotten back into swing dancing, which is awesome because I used to miss
doing it so much and now I get to do it multiple times a week again :-)
As you are looking through my pictures, you may say to yourself, "hey, that
kid looks familiar; I think I have seen him in a movie". You might be correct,
but the only way to double check that, is to click here
and check me out on the little big screen! You can also go there to
watch my do my first sky diving jump or to watch me do a strip dance
for my highschool.
Location:
Born and raised in Michigan, somewhere in the middle left of the palm
of your right hand. I used to want to live in Alaska but since then I have
met too many people from Alaska, and frankly, I am afraid of what my kids would
end up like. So now I think somewhere more exotic and fun will be my final
destination. When I figure out where I will post it. :-)
My Computer(s):
Ahh yes, My fun fun computers.
I have multiple computers, which I used to talk up in this spot, but I learned
that it is impossible to keep them up to date so I am just going to list their
basic specs instead. Let's see, the main few that I use are:
1. Phyxius. A small form factor PC for the purpose of LAN parties.
3.2 Gig P4 W/HT, 800 Mhz FSB, total of 500 Gig HD (200 + 300),
1 DVD burner, 1 Gig of PC 3200 Ram and a Radeon 9800 XT video 256 mb video card.
2. Lazarus. which started out as just a practice case mod. I
took a really really old case, remember those cases with the turbo buttons?
heh, yea, mine jumped from 100 Mhz to 188 Mhz, talk about power. I took
this case and took a jig saw to its cover to see what kind of fun design
I could make. Then I filed it and sanded it and painted it black, and
then I realized that it was a pretty cool looking computer, so I decided
to spend a little money to make the inside match the outside. (years ago)
MSI KT400 MotherBoard, total of 200 Gig HDs (120 +80) Athalon XP 2400+ 2.0 GHz
Processor, a Gig of 2700 Ram and a Radeon 9600 Pro 128 mb Video Card + DVD Burner.
3. Server. Is what it is. a game server. Athalon XP 2600 proc, gig of 2700 Ram,
80 gig HD , 128 mb Geforce FX video card + DVD burner.
It may be slightly obvious that I burn a lot of DVDs. I do... you know,
personal movies... nothing illegal. :-)
I have a few other lesser computers that I use for crap from time to time, but
at this point they are hardly worth listing.

If you are wondering why I always sign things "Matt e b" when my middle
name is Louis, it is simple. When I was in high school people called
me Matty B... and it kinda had a ring to it, so it stuck. After graduation
my friend Jeff went into the Marine Corps, and I would write him letters
at boot camp. After the first letter he wrote back to me, "Matt, don't
sign your name 'Matty B' or these guys will think I am gay and beat
my ass. Just sign your name 'Matt e b' instead and I will know what
you mean." so I started doing that instead, and just never stopped.
